Ten years ago, we responded to Champaign-Urbana’s need for an espresso bar away from the bustle and politics of the University. And though a handful of cafes have sprouted in our wake, none have quite surpassed our warmth and charm. Kopi has become the spot where the creative and enterprising minds of the city convene, and our success has made us integral to the current effort to revitalize Downtown Champaign.

Consistently voted that best cafe in the area, Cafe Kopi offers gourmet coffees, a full cappuccino bar, and a wide selection of loose teas. Unique to local coffee-houses we also feature fresh-squeezed vegetable juices, fruit smoothies, and light lunch fare. A full liquor menu allows us to supplement your coffee with Baileys, amaretto and Irish whisky, or choose from a fine selection of beers, wines, ports, Scotches, and Cognacs.

Situated in a soothing, open room with the original wood flooring and light fixtures, we host monthly art displays by local artists in an eclectic, smoke- free environment. The ambiance is hip and urbane, but very accessible, with a friendly, knowledgeable staff to complete the experience.
